All About Pallet Jack Bushings

Bushings are designed to wear out sooner than the mating parts. They are expendable and are made of softer material.

Pallet jack professionals recommend that you replace the bushings anytime the jack is torn down to a point where the bushings are accessible.

This will ensure longer life of the jack and will reduce the amount of downtime. Bushings are cost effective enough to change regularly.

Notes:
Replace all bushings that are cracked, broken, egg shaped or worn more than 1/16" from the original size.

Tips for easier maintenance:
Coat axles and bushings with anti-seize compound prior to installation makes maintenance easier.
